GCH CH NSDTRC-CH Manitou's Girl On Fire CD RN WC
DOB Dec. 12 2017

Ember was bred by Cindy Lindemer of Manitou Kennels in Minnesota . We can't thank Cindy enough for this lovely girl!

Grace Edwards and I share Ember, with the vast majority of her time spent with Grace.  Her house mates are Morgan the Newfoundland, Georgia the Bernese Mountain Dog and toller cousin Bam.

Ember is a highly social girl with both people and dogs so she easily and happily goes between our places. Grace is her special person though and Morgan is her best dog friend ever.
Ember had a very busy first year!!

She completed her CHAMPIONSHIP easily and in short order, at under a year old. Consistently winning BEST PUPPY IN BREED and BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX, to some of the top winning males in Canada. She has also won BEST PUPPY IN SPORTING GROUP and an exciting BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!  She has attained her CKC Canine Good Neighbour title.

Ember is pointed in AKC as well. She has 3 majors and is currently only a few points from completing her AKC CHAMPIONSHIP. Ember and Grace have also earned her AKC CANINE GOOD COMPANION title.

Grace is also training Ember in competitive obedience and in trick dog work. She is coming along fabulously!  They have earned Embers TRICK DOG 1 title so far.

Ember also goes with Grace and the rest of the St. John Therapy Dog crew visiting seniors in the community.  She has a calm demeanour when in her therapy dog environment and is handling this position well.

Spring 2019 Ember easily earns her JUNIOR HUNTER and her WORKING CERTIFICATE titles. I ran Ember in the Hunt Tests and Grace ran Em in the Working Certificate test at the NSDTRCC 2019 National Specialty in Calgary!! YAHOO GRACE!  Ember loves her ducks. Water is no barrier, she seeks it, throwing herself in at top speed. She runs hard and with plenty of style. She's a super little field dog!

Ember finished her CKC GRAND CHAMPION and AKC CHAMPION titles in the spring and summer of 2019.

November 2019 Ember earns her COMPANION DOG title with great scores and a HIGH IN CLASS!
This qualifies Miss Em for the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club of Canada Dobirstein Versatility Award. Very few are able to earn this distinction. Ember is a indeed a special girl.

After health clearances are completed we expect to be breeding Ember in Spring 2020. Inquires from families wishing to work their tollers in one of the many dog sports available to us or those who plan on hunting their toller, are welcome.
